| We wish to thank our attendees for participating in this years Leeman China User Event held June 14-18, 2004 in Kunming, China (Yunnan Province). This event was hosted by Mr. L. Y. Huang of Leeman Technology Ltd., China. Approximately 70 users attended.
This 5 day user meeting highlighted the latest developments in Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) spectrometers, Mercury Analyzers and Metal Alloy Analyzers from Leeman Labs.
Also included were in-depth discussions on:
- Prodigy ICP Applications and Method Development
- QC and QA analysis
- Maintenance and Diagnostics
- Latest Chinese version Prodigy ICP Software
- Precious Metal Analysis using a Profile ICP
- Simultaneous analysis for multi-elements using a H-G Nebuilizer and Hydride Generation
- Trace Analysis for Pure Tellurium by ICP-AES
Follow-up included demonstration of the Prodigy ICP at CCIB Lab and Yunnan Q&A Laboratory.
Also some fun was had by all - the users visited the Stone Forest in Lunan Yi Nationality Autonomous Region located about 75 miles from Kunming. And visited the city of Lijiang which is over 800 years old and is located 7800 feet above sea level, located in Naxi Ethinc Minority Region in Yunnan Province.
